Pummel Party was released on September 20, 2018, and supports multiplayer for up to 8 players online and 4 players locally. It is a digital party board game that combines turn-based board movement with competitive mini-games and heavy use of items designed to sabotage opponents. The game features Board Mode (the main Mario Party–style experience with item shops and hazards), a large selection of Free Play mini-games, and custom match settings, with gameplay centered on resource management, timing, and direct player interference through traps, weapons, and disruptive power-ups.
